Senior RF Engineer

Senior RF Engineer About Doodle Labs Doodle Labs builds the connectivity backbone of the autonomous systems revolution — resilient wireless mesh networks that let drones, robots, and unmanned platforms operate reliably in the world's most demanding environments. We sit at the intersection of defense, robotics, and next-generation autonomy, powering the machines that are changing how militaries, first responders, and industries operate in the field. Our core purpose is simple: connect anyone and anything, at any time, in any place. For over 25 years, our team has been at the forefront of mesh networking, partnering with leading defense programs, robotics manufacturers, and system integrators worldwide. The work here doesn't sit in a slide deck — it ends up in the field, in the hands of people for whom failure isn't an option. About the Role The Senior RF Engineer will play a critical hands-on role in designing, validating, and transferring high-performance radio modules from concept through production. In this role, you will work closely with PCB, mechanical, and product engineering teams to develop advanced wireless systems used in demanding real-world environments. You will lead RF design execution from initial architecture through prototype validation and manufacturing transfer, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements. This is a deeply technical role offering end-to-end ownership and direct impact on the performance and capabilities of Doodle Labs’ wireless products. What You’ll Do • Design and develop production-ready RF radio modules from concept through validation and manufacturing transfer • Translate product requirements into RF architectures including schematic design, RF front-end development, and PCB implementation • Lead end-to-end RF design execution including RF circuitry, analog components, power supplies, and system interfaces • Develop compact and scalable radio module designs that support multiple frequency bands and product configurations • Perform RF simulations and front-end analysis to validate design decisions prior to hardware fabrication • Plan and execute RF and system-level validation testing to ensure performance meets product specifications • Prepare technical documentation including schematics, design rationale, and test results to support product lifecycle management • Coordinate design reviews with RF, PCB, mechanical, and product engineering teams • Identify technical risks and develop solutions balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, and schedule • Support development of next-generation wireless technologies including advanced Wi-Fi, BLE, GPS, and high-power RF amplification systems What Success Looks Like • Delivery of validated RF radio modules that meet performance specifications and are ready for manufacturing • Compact, flexible designs that support multiple SKUs and frequency configurations • Efficient cross-functional collaboration with hardware, product engineering, and manufacturing teams • Successful transfer of RF designs into production with minimal redesign requirements • High technical rigor in RF design, testing, and documentation processes • Strong contributions to next-generation wireless product development initiatives Who You Are • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field • Significant experience designing RF hardware for wireless communication systems • Strong expertise in RF circuit design, front-end architectures, and radio system integration • Experience with RF simulation, testing, and performance validation methodologies • Familiarity with high-frequency PCB design and RF layout considerations • Experience supporting product development from prototype through production • Ability to collaborate effectively with PCB designers, mechanical engineers, and product teams • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical challenges • Comfortable working in fast-paced engineering environments with evolving product requirements Why Join Doodle Labs • Work on cutting-edge technology powering the future of autonomous systems • Collaborate with engineers and innovators building industry-leading connectivity solutions • Direct ownership of RF designs that define product performance and capability • Opportunity to solve complex wireless engineering challenges in real-world deployments Compensation & Benefits Doodle Labs offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package built for people doing serious work. • Compensation: Competitive base salary, individual and company performance bonuses • Health & Wellness: Medical coverage, plus sponsored gym memberships • Retirement: CPF contributions per Singapore statutory requirements • Professional Development: Access to courses, certifications, and conferences • Time Off: Paid time off, Singapore public holidays observed, plus a company-wide holiday shutdown from Christmas through New Year's • Relocation Assistance: Available depending on role eligibility
