Someone who thinks AI, digital and social first , but understands that great strategy doesn't live in a channel. You'll connect brand, creative & content, media and data around the customer, helping our teams and clients see opportunities others don't. You'll translate business, brand and customer challenges into clear strategies that bring our specialist capabilities together around a shared direction. You'll be part strategist, orchestrator and builder : shaping integrated strategies for leading brands across Southeast Asia, driving new business, identifying opportunities for growth and helping us build a repeatable strategy capability for the AI economy. This is a hands-on role. You'll be equally comfortable shaping the big strategic idea, interrogating consumer behaviour and data, exploring how AI changes the opportunity, mapping a customer journey, writing a creative brief or getting into the details of a pitch. What You'll Do. • Integrated Strategy : Lead integrated strategies spanning brand, creative & content, media and data. Translate complex business and marketing challenges into clear strategic frameworks, customer journeys, propositions and briefs that teams can execute against. Move comfortably between brand-level thinking and the realities of digital platforms, social behaviour, media, data and emerging technology. • AI-First Strategy : Bring AI into both what we recommend and how we work. Use AI across research, insight generation, audience understanding, ideation and strategic development. Build a strong point of view on how AI is changing consumer behaviour, marketing and customer experience, and translate that change into practical opportunities for clients. • Cross-Functional Orchestration : Act as the strategic connective tissue across our capabilities. Bring specialists together around a shared understanding of the customer, the problem and the opportunity. Challenge siloed thinking and turn different specialist perspectives into one coherent client narrative. • Customer & Growth Strategy : Understand our clients' brands, customers, categories and competitive environments deeply. Look beyond the immediate brief to identify unmet needs, emerging behaviours and opportunities clients may not yet see. Translate these into strategies that create customer value, strengthen brands and unlock growth. • New Business : Lead strategic thinking for integrated pitches across Southeast Asia. Find the strategic unlock, simplify complexity and build compelling narratives that demonstrate the value of an integrated Monks offering. Represent our strategy capability confidently in pitches, workshops and senior client conversations. • Build the Capability : Help build and productise Integrated Strategy for Southeast Asia. Develop repeatable frameworks, methodologies, prompts and tools that improve the consistency, speed and quality of our strategic work. Contribute to client POVs, research, events and thought leadership that strengthen Monks' strategic profile in the region. What We're Looking For. • 8+ years' experience in strategy, planning or related roles across digital, social, creative, media, integrated agency or consultancy environments. • Strong foundations in brand and customer strategy, combined with contemporary digital, social, media and data thinking. • An AI-first mindset, with hands-on experience using AI within the strategic process and genuine curiosity about how technology is changing consumers, brands and marketing. • The ability to connect brand, creative & content, media and data into a single strategic narrative. • Strong customer and commercial instincts, with the ability to spot opportunities beyond the immediate brief. • Experience leading or contributing to pitches and new business, with an ability to find the central idea and build a compelling story under pressure. • A builder mentality, interested in creating frameworks, tools and repeatable approaches, not simply delivering individual strategy projects. • An excellent storyteller, facilitator and presenter who can simplify complexity, articulate a clear point of view and influence teams without direct authority. • Collaborative, intellectually curious and comfortable operating in ambiguity across Southeast Asia. Above all, we're looking for someone prepared to get their hands dirty: someone who can think at 30,000 feet in the morning and be inside the detail of a customer journey, AI prompt, creative brief or pitch deck that afternoon. #LI-CX1 About Monks Monks is the global, digital-first, data-driven, unitary operating brand of S4Capital plc, where our culture centers on how we show up for the work and for one another.
