Assistant Manager (Air & Sea / Freight Forwarding / MNC / Central / 5 Days)

• Well Established German MNC Freight Forwarding Company • Working location at Harbourfront • Working hour: Monday –Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm) • AWS + Variable Bonus • Excellent Welfare & Benefits Job Scope • Arrange and coordinate shipments by sea, air or land • Apply the necessary customs permits • Liaise with contractors on timely collection and delivery of cargoes in Singapore • Liaise with respective overseas offices and agents • Attending to site meetings, surveys & loadouts as and when required • Acknowledge incoming invoices and raise invoices to customers for payment • Update and operate the Operations System (BLU) • Update the tracking and tracing tools when in place for respective project • Prepare quotations to clients, other office or agents • Request and negotiate ad-hoc quotations from approved carriers, supplier and sub-contractor to ensure quality service at the best possible rate • Ensure all clients requests are shared with the Operations Manager or Project Manager Requirement • Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics management or equivalent • 4 – 6 years of working experience in freight forwarding industry Candidates are encouraged to apply this position via Apply Now button with the following information in the resume: • Work experiences and job responsibilities • Current and Expected salary • Reason for leaving • Date of availability • Education background We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
