Business Development Manager

Job Description • Oversee daily manufacturing operations of timber flooring and custom wooden furniture production, manage production schedules to meet delivery targets while controlling production cost. • Conduct quality assurance on timber raw materials, semi-finished and finished products; monitor wood processing, finishing and coating processes, resolve manufacturing technical issues related to timber products. • Lead production team planning, workflow optimisation, implement safety protocols on the factory floor. • Collaborate with product development, procurement and sales teams to review product specifications, assess timber material performance, and support new flooring/furniture product trial production. • Prepare production reports, track yield and waste rate, implement continuous improvement for timber manufacturing processes. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or above in Wood Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Furniture Design or related disciplines. • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in timber flooring or wooden furniture manufacturing plant management. • Solid knowledge of wood properties, timber processing technology, flooring and furniture production workflow, quality standards. • Strong project planning, cost control and team management capabilities. • Good communication skill to liaise with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.
