CREATIVE 3D DESIGNER

AXIS Group Asia is an end-to-end creative and experiential agency that builds brands and engages audiences in high-impact settings. The agency offers versatile services that span strategy, design, and execution, allowing clients to deliver memorable experiences across physical and digital environments. We’re looking for a creative, technically strong and detail-oriented 3D Designer to join our creative team. You’ll translate briefs and ideas into compelling spatial concepts — from brand activations and pop-ups to exhibitions, launches, events and immersive experiences. Beyond creating beautiful renders, we’re looking for someone who can think conceptually, understand how things are built, and develop designs that work in the real world. YOUR ROLE ● Conceptualise and develop creative 3D spatial designs based on client briefs, brand guidelines and project objectives. ● Translate ideas into sketches, moodboards, layouts, 3D visualisations and presentation-ready renders . ● Proactively propose creative design solutions , rather than simply executing instructions. ● Develop concepts for events, pop-ups, exhibitions, brand activations, retail experiences, installations and other experiential projects . ● Create accurate technical drawings and production specifications to ensure designs can be translated effectively from render to reality. ● Understand materials, finishes, lighting, fabrication methods, spatial planning and basic construction requirements. ● Work closely with the Creative, Account Servicing and Production teams from concept development through to final execution. ● Review designs with the Production team to ensure creative intent, practicality, safety and build feasibility are aligned. ● Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy and attention to detail under tight timelines. ● Stay current with design trends, materials, technology and emerging experiential formats . ● Support projects through the production stage, including technical drawings, final artwork coordination and on-site design checks where required. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR ● Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in 3D spatial, experiential, exhibition, event, interior or environmental design. ● Strong portfolio demonstrating spatial thinking, creativity and high-quality 3D visualisation . ● Strong understanding of composition, scale, proportion, materials, textures, lighting and realistic rendering . ● Proficiency in relevant software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, V-Ray/Corona, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator , or equivalent. ● Ability to produce and understand technical drawings, floorplans, elevations and construction details . ● Good understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, lighting applications and event production terminology . ● Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies before work is presented. ● Comfortable working independently and making informed design decisions. ● Able to communicate ideas clearly and explain the thinking and rationale behind design decisions . ● Strong time management skills and ability to work across multiple fast-moving projects. ● Collaborative, responsible and receptive to feedback. ● Experience working on luxury, fashion, automotive, lifestyle or premium brand projects is an advantage. ● Strong command of English and able to communicate effectively THE KIND OF DESIGNER WE VALUE We’re not looking for someone who only knows how to make a beautiful render. We value designers who are curious, resourceful and solutions-driven — someone who asks why , understands the brief before designing, and thinks about how an idea will eventually be fabricated and experienced. You should be comfortable taking ownership of your work, exploring ideas independently and bringing something new to the table. Think beyond the brief. Design with purpose. Make it buildable. WHY AXIS GROUP ASIA? At AXIS, you’ll work across a diverse range of projects and brands, with opportunities to see your ideas move from a sketch on screen to a physical experience in the real world . You’ll collaborate closely with creative, production and project teams, gaining exposure to the entire process — concept, design, development, fabrication and execution . If you enjoy creating spaces and experiences that people can actually walk into, interact with and remember , we’d love to hear from you.
