Java Backend Developer

Requirement Details • Role: Senior Java Backend Developer • Number of Positions: 2 • Duration: 12 Months (Extendable) • Experience: 9+ Years Role Overview We are seeking experienced Senior Java Backend Developers to design, build, and maintain high-throughput, mission-critical digital banking applications. The selected candidates will work within Agile delivery teams to develop scalable microservices and resilient API platforms supporting critical banking services. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. • Build secure RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party financial services. • Implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ. • Optimize database performance and design solutions leveraging Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes. • Perform code reviews, application testing, production support, and performance optimization. Mandatory Skills • Minimum 9 years of hands-on experience in Java Backend Development. • Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate. • Experience with Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, Design Patterns, and Distributed Systems. • Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or JMS. • Strong knowledge of Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD practices. • Prior Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech experience is mandatory. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
