Trade Support Officer (1-year Contract)

About the Job • Provide primary operational control and real-time support to sales and trading desks, ensuring precise trade capture and validation on trade date. • Oversee and actively engage in daily operations carried out by the Trade Support Unit (TSU): • Executing trade booking control mechanisms. • Handling trade captures, amendments, and cancellations in full compliance with operational standards. • Managing lifecycle events, including options exercises, fixings, portfolio compressions, expiries, and novations. • Investigating and resolving trade queries and operational bottlenecks. • Fulfilling additional duties and tasks assigned by management. • Spot operational risk exposures during daily workflows and partner with team leadership to implement control frameworks and process enhancements. • Support department management on strategic initiatives, including system implementations, workflow optimizations, tool deployments, and onboarding new business lines. Skills and Requirements • Solid technical knowledge of capital market instruments, including Rates, Credit, FX, FX Options, and Fixed Income. • Direct, practical experience managing products and workflows within a Capital Markets Middle Office setup. • Clear understanding of Middle Office functions and end-to-end Front-to-Back trade lifecycle processes. • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple operational levels. • High adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
