Accounts Assistant

Roles & Responsibilities: • Handle partial set of accounts and maintain accurate accounting records. • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and inter-company account reconciliations. • Process Accounts Payable (AP), including payments to trade and non-trade suppliers. • Reconcile suppliers’ Statements of Account (SOA) against outstanding invoices in the system. • Monitor incoming shipments and follow up on delivery status with relevant parties. • Prepare monthly financial schedules and supporting documents. • Perform general office administrative duties. • Assist the Accountant with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned. Requirements: • Diploma / Nitec / Higher Nitec in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. • Relevant accounting or Accounts Payable experience will be advantageous. • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel. • Detail-oriented, organised and able to work independently.
