Business Development Executive (Mission-Critical Systems)

About Us At Eligo Pte Ltd, we are a premier distributor and stockist of high-quality industrial products in ASEAN, proudly representing apex global brands like Parker Hannifin and Aspen Aerogels. We specialize in engineering supply chain certainty and delivering mission-critical fluid delivery systems (valves, fittings, tubings, pressure regulators, and insulation) to heavily regulated, high-stakes industries where zero downtime is the ultimate metric. We are not a traditional, slow-moving SME. Eligo is a highly profitable, digital-first, and AI-augmented regional partner . By integrating state-of-the-art AI tools into our daily quoting and inventory operations, we have successfully eliminated the manual "grunt work" of digging through thousands of pages of catalogs. This allows our sales professionals to do what they do best: focus on high-level strategy, proactive market intelligence, and building lifelong partnerships. Our Core Values Stewardship & Integrity (Philotimo): We operate with a deep love of honor. We believe in absolute transparency and doing the right thing for our customers, our team, and our partners, even when no one is watching. Knowledge-Synthesized: We do not just memorize catalogs. We leverage advanced digital tools to turn decades of market experience into immediate, proactive solutions. Absolute Reliability: In mission-critical projects, certainty is our product. We protect our customers from operational and commercial risk. Continuous Evolution: We aggressively adopt modern technologies to ensure our team is always faster, sharper, and more competitive than the market demands. The Role: Why This is Different If you are tired of being chained to a desk doing manual data entry, building complex technical quotes from scratch, or cross-referencing thousands of SKUs, this role is designed for you. Our internal Technical Systems Lead and AI-assisted quoting matrix handle 90% of the manual technical lifting. You are stepping into a dynamic, high-autonomy B2B sales hunting and relationship-management role . Armed with Eligo’s proprietary project intelligence and elite pricing margins, your primary mission is to secure high-value contracts and build strategic alliances in the field. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities) Project Interception & Sourcing : Actively hunt, qualify, and secure high-value brownfield and greenfield project opportunities across Jurong Island, major shipyards, and key semiconductor wafer fabs. C-Suite & EPC Negotiation: Bypass standard procurement roadblocks by pitching Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), supply chain reliability, and risk mitigation directly to EPC project managers, procurement directors, and end-user executives. Strategic Account Stewardship: Take full ownership of key accounts, nurturing long-term relationships, negotiating multi-year framework agreements, and structuring volume-based rebate models. Cross-Portfolio Growth: Partner closely with internal technical teams to leverage automated data triage, identifying cross-selling opportunities across our inter-complementary product ranges. Market Intelligence Reporting: Utilize modern, mobile-friendly CRM tools to log client interactions and feed field-level competitor insights back to the leadership team, ensuring Eligo always stays ahead of the market. Who You Are (Requirements & Qualifications) Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven track record in B2B technical sales, project sales, or business development. Experience selling to shipyards, EPC contractors, wafer fabs, or chemical plants is highly advantageous. Industry Knowledge : Prior exposure to mechanical engineering, fluid gas distribution, control instrumentation, or industrial insulation will be an advantage. Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related technical/scientific field. Tech-Fluent Mindset: You do not need to be a software developer, but you must be open-minded, adaptable, and eager to use modern digital tools to multiply your personal sales efficiency. High Integrity: You align deeply with our core value of Philotimo —you are honest, transparent, and driven by doing the right thing for the client over a quick, low-margin win. Logistics: Having a Class 3 or 3A driving license will be an advantage
