Accountant

Scope of work and responsibilities • Handle full sets of accounts for a portfolio of client companies. • Prepare timely and accurate accounting records, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets. • Prepare monthly account reconciliations, journal entries and balance sheet schedules. • Liaise and coordinate with clients and external parties, including auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial service providers and relevant government authorities, where required. • Prepare tax schedules and supporting documents for corporate tax filing. • Assist with audit and tax-related queries and provide the necessary accounting information and supporting documents. • Follow up with clients on outstanding accounting records, documents and information required for account preparation. • Provide ad-hoc accounting support and assist with other assignments or projects as required. Qualifications • Degree in Accounting or equivalent • At least 3 years of experience in similar role, and is familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Corporate Tax Statutory requirement • Proficient in Microsoft office and familiarity with accounting system will be advantageous • Ability to work well in a team and independently • Meticulous, multitasking and able to handle tight datelines
