IONM Clinical Support

Job Description • Provide intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) support during surgical procedures. • Set up and operate IONM equipment including SSEP, MEP, EMG, and other relevant modalities. • Perform patient preparation, electrode placement, baseline acquisition, and intraoperative monitoring. • Monitor neurophysiological signals continuously and identify significant changes during surgery. • Communicate important signal changes promptly to the surgeon, anaesthetist, and relevant clinical team. • Prepare pre-operative and post-operative monitoring reports. • Follow hospital, company, and clinical safety procedures. • Support multiple hospitals and surgical teams when required. Requirements • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Neurophysiology, Medical Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related fields. • Previous IONM experience is preferably more than 1 year. • Experience with SSEP, MEP and EMG. • Willing to work in operating theatres and support emergency/on-call cases. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Able to work independently under pressure.
