Senior Accounts Executive

Job Summary Join our well-established boutique accounting and corporate services firm as a Senior Accounts Executive, gaining hands-on experience managing diverse client accounts and developing practical client-handling skills. Responsibilities • Manage a portfolio of clients as the primary contact for accounting matters to ensure accurate and timely service • Develop and sustain effective working relationships with clients to provide responsive support and address their accounting needs • Independently prepare full sets of accounts for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance • Provide on-site accounting support at clients’ offices to maintain up-to-date accounting records • Prepare GST returns in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure compliance • Compile unaudited financial statements to support client reporting needs • Prepare tax computations and manage related tax matters to meet client requirements • Assist with simple corporate secretarial assignments to support team objectives • Identify and resolve accounting issues promptly when required • Mentor and guide junior staff to enhance team capability and performance Required competencies and certifications • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification • Proficient in preparing full sets of accounts using QuickBooks Online • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and accounting principles • Effective problem-solving skills applied to client management and accounting challenges • Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with clients and team members Preferred competencies and qualifications • Comfortable communicating and collaborating directly with clients to enhance professional delivery Other Information • Friendly and supportive working environment • On-the-job guidance and training provided • Hands-on exposure to accounting and tax work • Opportunities to work directly with clients and broaden accounting knowledge • Career growth and development opportunities 📩 Email us your CV to accntax@amabel-associates.com and tell us a little about yourself and your experience.
