F & B Supervisor

Industry: Food & Beverage / Restaurant Cuisine: Myanmar Cuisine Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and responsible F&B Supervisor to join our team at Avenue J Café. The successful candidate will oversee daily restaurant operations, supervise service staff, maintain food and service standards, and ensure an excellent dining experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations. • Lead, motivate, and manage the front-of-house team. • Assign duties and monitor staff performance and attendance. • Ensure high standards of customer service and hospitality. • Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally. • Monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards. • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements. • Monitor inventory and assist with stock-taking and ordering. • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. • Assist with staff training, onboarding, and development. • Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and closing procedures. • Support the Restaurant Manager/Management Team in achieving sales and operational targets. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in F&B or restaurant operations , preferably in a supervisory role. • Experience in Myanmar cuisine or a similar restaurant environment is an advantage. • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Good problem-solving and organisational skills. • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required. • Positive attitude, responsible, and service-oriented. Working Conditions • Full-time position. • Shift work, including weekends and public holidays. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
