Associate (Architectural Design)

Kyoob Architects is a Singapore architectural practice founded in 2003. We deliver projects across the full lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through design development, authority submissions, tender and construction documentation, and site delivery. Our work spans public housing, integrated developments, institutional, commercial workplace and industrial projects. We are looking for Associates to join our studios. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and candidates with relevant experience will be given preference. Our development model is built on three connected pillars. You will be mentored by senior team members and given planned project exposure to build capability across all three. • Technical and Design • Contribute to design development, detailing and documentation • Produce drawings and models in Revit and/or Archicad, and AutoCAD • Apply materials knowledge and problem-solving to resolve design and technical issues • Maintain the quality and accuracy of project documentation • Project and Stakeholder • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and project team members • Support communication with clients and attend project and site meetings • Track deliverables and help keep the project on programme • Follow up on issues and queries through to resolution • Regulatory and Compliance • Prepare and coordinate authority submissions under the guidance of senior architects • Apply Singapore building codes and regulations in project work • Support tender and contract documentation • Build the knowledge and experience needed for the route towards professional registration Requirements: • Degree in Architecture from a recognised university; a Master of Architecture is preferred • Fresh graduates are welcome; 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in an architectural practice is an advantage • Proficiency in Revit and/or Archicad, and AutoCAD; SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite are advantageous • Good design sensibility and clear communication and presentation skills • Willingness to learn across the full project lifecycle and to take feedback • Able to work independently and as part of a team • Experience with Singapore authority submissions or public sector projects is an advantage
