Resident Engineer (M&E)

Job Responsibilities • Carry out construction supervision of construction works as required under the BCA regulations and ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on-site. • Responsible for the co-ordination of work on site and ensure construction safety. • Ensure that all mechanical & electrical works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements. • Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision, quality & safety. • Review M&E drawings and relevant contract documents in carrying out the works. • Attend site progress and technical meetings with the project team and Client to resolve site and technical issues. • Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements are updated in a timely manner and properly kept. Job Requirements • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience. • Must be accredited as a Resident Engineer with IES. • Proficient in MS Office applications to facilitate project updates and reports • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Familiar with local codes and regulations
