RESPONSIBILITIES • This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS). • Investigating the AI components in software ecosystems. • Understanding supply chain of these AI components. • Identifying trustworthy issues in production-level AI-based software. • Other duties assigned by the supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines with particular focus on software development. • Experience in AI Safety research. • Proficiency in programming software/languages. • Familiarity in industrial software deployment practices (IaC, cloud systems). • Proven track record (publications) in top AI/SE conference. • Experience with agent design, such as coding agents and GUI agents, is preferred. • Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box. • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential. • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
