Senior/Coordinator - Design

The Design Coordinator will have the responsibility of overseeing the progress for design development for the assigned projects against the given schedule. He/She will also be required to participate and be involved in liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as clients and the relevant authorities. Duties & Responsibilities: • Responsible for the preparations and modifications of schematic, detailed and production drawings • Responsible for designing and analysing various structures of assigned project(s) • Responsible for undertaking structural designs for assigned project(s) and producing structural calculations/simulations reports in line with structural specifications • Responsible for the preparation of 2D and 3D presentations and/or design drawings • Responsible for the compilation of data and performance of elementary design computations • To assist in design, providing technical documentation, tender submissions, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and project budgets • Required to participate in Client liaison, authority consultation, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and attending design and construction meetings • Liaise with involved parties to plan, arrange and ensure that construction activities are carried out as per project design requirements • To handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned by the Management/Direct Supervisor Requirements: • To possess a Diploma/Degree in Structural Engineering / Architecture or equivalent • To have at least 3 - 8 years of related working experience under Main Contractor/Building Construction Industry • Candidates with prior A&A, airport and office buildings related projects will be preferred • Candidates will be considered for the role based on their relevant qualifications, skills, and years of experience Work Location: East (Changi)
