PORT OPERATIONS OFFICER

Job Description: · Strategically plan and manage operations, manpower, transportation and logistics · Enforce and ensure workers comply with safety standards and SOPs · Attend and conduct necessary investigation and inspections for all accidents and infringements · Resolve all operational issues and report rectification to management · Prepare and attend weekly safety and operations meetings and reviews · Supervise, coach and train new workers · Explore cost and performance improvement opportunities and lead the project Job Requirements: • Minimum 3 years experience in operations • Minimum Diploma or equivalent • Possess Class 4 driving license is an added advantage • Good analytical and problem solving skills • Good interpersonal and multi tasking skills • Able to work independently as well as in a team • Able to work under stress and meet tight timeline • Able to perform overtime when necessary • Able to work on rotating shifts/weekends/public holidays when necessary • Proficient in MS Office
