Group Accountant / Finance Manager

We are seeking a Group Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee budgeting, forecasting, Group accounting, and month-end, quarterly and year-end closing activities. The role will lead financial consolidation, oversee treasury, cash flow management and financial analysis, and drive strategic initiatives and process improvements across the Group. Key responsibilities • Manage budgeting, forecasting, Group accounting, and month-end, quarterly and year-end closing activities • Oversee treasury, cash flow management and financial analysis • Lead financial consolidation and reporting for an international business group • Oversee internal controls, audit, tax and compliance matters • Support and manage M&A and corporate restructuring activities • Drive strategic initiatives and process improvements across the Group Qualifications & Experience • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. • CA qualified. • Proficient in MS Office and MS Dynamics NAV (Navision). • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Group Accounts within the construction industry or other project-based businesses, including: • Minimum 3 years of audit experience, preferably involving Group accounts; and • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Group consolidation and financial reporting. • Experience in M&A, corporate restructuring and Group-level strategic projects. Key Competencies • Experience in overseeing overseas operations and international subsidiaries. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Meticulous, organised and highly attentive to detail. • Strong understanding of internal controls and financial processes. • High level of integrity and discretion in handling financial information.
