Sales Intern (Field, B2B) - Food & Industrial Distributors

ABOUT US eAI Lab is the software arm of TreeDots, a food redistributor operating in Singapore and Indonesia. We build Odello, an AI order desk that reads customer orders arriving by WhatsApp, email and PO PDF, and turns them into confirmed sales orders in the customer's existing system. Our customers are wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers. ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP This is a field sales internship, not an office internship. You will be out at wholesale centres and industrial estates, walking into businesses, introducing our product to the owner, and booking demonstrations. You will report directly to our co-founder, who will be out there with you. WHAT YOU WILL DO Visit businesses in person at wholesale centres and industrial estates such as Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre, Senoko, Woodlands and Tuas. Introduce Odello to the business owner or the person who runs their operations. Book demonstrations and sit in on them with the founders. Follow up by WhatsApp and phone until the customer reaches a decision. Record every visit and outcome in our CRM. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR You are willing to walk into a business you have never contacted before and ask to speak to the boss. That is the whole job, and we will teach you the rest. Many of our customers prefer to conduct business in Mandarin or dialect, so you must be able to hold a full business conversation in Mandarin. You do not need sales experience or a technology background. Being comfortable with AI tools is an advantage, because many of the owners we meet are curious about AI and have nobody to ask. You are able to be on your feet and outdoors for most of the working day. You are comfortable with rejection and keep going. WHAT WE OFFER Monthly allowance of S$800 to S$1,200, depending on experience. The same uncapped commission our full-time salespeople earn on every customer you close. Interns are not excluded from it. You report directly to a co-founder, and you will be in the room for real customer meetings from your first week. A path to a full-time offer for anyone who performs. DURATION Three to six months, full-time during the internship. We can work around your school's internship calendar.
