TRANSPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Responsibilities • Assist in managing the transportation operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring transportation activities for optimal efficiency • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service delivery and operational performance • Analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards • Coordinate communication between drivers, clients, and internal teams to resolve operational issues • Participate in the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of transportation personnel • Support the development and management of transportation budgets and forecasts Requirements • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities • Proactive problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace
