Safety Coordinator

Job Description • Co-ordinate Workplace Safety and Health Meetings and conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and training • o Ensure all workers at the site are wearing appropriate PPE at all times. • Ensure all the design/installation detail can be done according to site conditions. • Ensure that electrical installations comply with relevant codes of practice for electrical installations and other related statutory requirement. • Conduct daily site safety inspections and enforce compliance with prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations and other requirements. • Assist in all issues related to workplace safety, health, and environmental control. • Liaise closely with site operations staff on all safety and health issues. • Conduct and review Risk Assessments and assist in identifying and assessing risks arising from the workplace. • Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as may be required by the regulatory authorities. • To ensure of safe measurements on site as a duty of a Safe Management Officer. • Any other duties that may be assigned. Requirement • Min 2 years of relevant experience in the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental field • · Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes. • · Good knowledge of Government Regulations • · Electrical Knowledge in the Construction Industry is an added advantage. • · Familiar with OSH/ ISO documentation • · Able to work independently.
