Marine Safety Assistant Technician (Up to $5K/month, 5 day work)

Job Summary: As a Service Technician, you are responsible for the high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of Survitec products. You balance technical expertise with a safety-first mindset, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards while actively contributing to process improvements and a positive team culture. Candidates without relevant technical diplomas or certificates and a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough inspections of inflatable life rafts and related safety equipment according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements (SOLAS). • Perform necessary maintenance and repairs, including patching, valve servicing, pressure testing, and replacing components. • Repack life rafts efficiently and correctly, ensuring all contents are present and in good working order. • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each life raft serviced. • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and servicing techniques. • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies. • Assist with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of life rafts and equipment. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding job status and any issues encountered. • Potentially conduct on-site servicing on vessels as required.
