Maintenance Engineer (Transport provided)

Maintenance Engineer About the Role Our client, a manufacturing company based in Boon Lay, is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance operations and keep plant equipment running at peak performance. Transport is available from Jurong Point. What You'll Do • Troubleshoot and carry out corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment performing optimally • Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are available when needed • Liaise with suppliers and vendors for technical support, spare parts, and maintenance services • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to boost reliability and productivity • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and maintenance procedures What You'll Need • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field • 2–3 years of relevant experience in a heavy manufacturing environment • Hands-on experience with automation systems — troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment • Experience in steel manufacturing is a plus • Strong knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team • Able to perform well under pressure and respond promptly to maintenance issues • Willing to work 5.5 days/week with overtime as needed • Valid driving license preferred Work Location: Boon Lay (transport provided from Jurong Point) If you would like to explore this opportunity, please email your resume in Microsoft Word format to eugene.chang@thevinesearch.com We thank you for your interest and will contact shortlisted candidates for a more detailed discussion.
