COOK

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Cook to join our food court/canteen kitchen team. The Cook will be responsible for daily food preparation and cooking while ensuring good food quality, hygiene and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and company standards. • Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, sauces and spices. • Ensure food is fresh, properly cooked and of consistent quality. • Assist with daily food preparation and meal service. • Maintain proper portion control and minimise food wastage. • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients. • Ensure proper storage and handling of food items. • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, cooking equipment and work areas. • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures. • Assist with stock checking and inform the supervisor when supplies are low. • Work together with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. • Assist with cleaning and other kitchen duties when required. • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management. Requirements • Previous experience as a Cook in a food court, canteen, restaurant or catering kitchen is preferred. • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety. • Responsible, hardworking and punctual. • Willing to learn and follow instructions. • Experience in Indian, Chinese or local cuisine will be an advantage. Working Hours 6 days per week Working hours and rest days will be arranged according to operational requirements
