IT Procurement Officer

• 6 months contract (renewable) • 5 days' work week • Work location: Tanjong Pagar • Industry: Banking and Finance About the role Reporting to the IT Support Manager, you will primarily support the IT procurement function, covering both capital and operational expenditure. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure procurement processes, documentation and controls are properly managed. Key responsibilities • Support end-to-end procurement activities for both capital and operational expenditure. • Review and validate procurement documentation, including quotations, Statements of Work (SOWs) and other supporting documents. • Prepare and raise procurement-related requests such as Capital Expenditure Requests, Purchase Orders and Goods Receipts. • Ensure procurement documentation complies with internal control procedures and requirements. • Conduct regular vendor due diligence, including gathering vendor information and assessing compliance against the organisation's standard checklist. • Support improvements and automation of procurement processes using digital tools, AI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). • Support the use of procurement systems, including Oracle purchasing / procure-to-pay solutions. • Work closely with IT teams, end-users and business stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues and provide operational guidance. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles and relevant operational records.
