Project Manager

Job Description • Plans and controls the execution of the project. Prepares the manpower, machinery and materials requirement on site. To confirm the duration of each critical activity and construction programme. • Regulates current activities with regards to work methods, technical solutions, resources input and other operational details. • Delegate duties to respective site personnel such as Foreman, Project Engineers, Safety Officer, Quantity Surveyor and Site Clerk. • Co-ordinates matters pertaining to site progress. Manpower and machinery utilisation, mobilisation schedule, certification of payment, site disputes, planning of site facilities and workers quarters etc. • Communicates and maintains public relation with relevant parties and local authorities. • Prepare and compile site progress reports for progress claims and monitoring project activities. • To verify work done by subcontractors. • To carry out other site works job duties as instructed. Requirements • Candidate to possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (RE Recognized) and relevant certificates. • At least 5 years of working experience in the construction field. • Preferably with Class 3 Driving license. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
