We are a growingcompany, and we are looking for someone who wants to build something with us,not simply perform a narrow job description. TheOpportunity We are lookingfor a Business Development & Operations Executive who is energetic,proactive, hardworking, resourceful and comfortable wearing different hats. Your mainresponsibility will be to help Mireia grow its customer base and generate newbusiness. But because weare a growing company, this is not a role where you will only sit at a deskmaking sales calls. There will bedays when you are meeting a hotel chef, days when you are preparing samples,days when you are helping with packaging, and days when you are representingMireia at a weekend roadshow. If your attitudeis: "How canI help?" we would love tohear from you. Your MainResponsibilities 1. BusinessDevelopment & Sales • Identify and approach new potential customers. • Develop new business opportunities for Mireia. • Contact hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, retailers, distributors, corporate clients and other potential customers. • Arrange and attend meetings with chefs, procurement teams, owners and decision-makers. • Introduce Mireia and its products. • Conduct product presentations and tastings. • Prepare and follow up on quotations. • Manage prospects from first contact through to first order. • Develop existing accounts and encourage repeat business. • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. • Actively look for new markets, customers and partnership opportunities. • Achieve agreed business-development and sales targets. 2. Client& Relationship Management • Build genuine long-term relationships with customers. • Maintain regular communication and follow-ups. • Understand customer requirements and communicate them to the Mireia team. • Coordinate samples, quotations, orders and customer requests. • Ensure customer information and business opportunities are properly recorded in Mireia's systems. • Represent Mireia professionally at all times. All customers,leads, contacts, opportunities and relationships developed through this rolebelong to Mireia and must be managed through Mireia. 3. Operations& Fulfilment Because Mireia isa growing company, you will also be involved in day-to-day operations. Depending onbusiness needs, responsibilities may include: • Preparing customer orders. • Packing vanilla beans and other Mireia products. • Preparing samples and tasting sets. • Labelling and checking products. • Preparing packaging materials. • Assisting with gift-box assembly. • Checking stock and inventory. • Organizing products and packaging materials. • Preparing orders for collection or delivery. • Assisting with simple quality-control checks. • Keeping the workspace organized and clean. • Supporting the team during busy periods. • Helping coordinate deliveries and collections. • Assisting with preparation for events and roadshows. You do not needto have experience in every area. What mattersis that you are willing to learn and are not afraid of hands-on work. 4. Events,Roadshows & Pop-Ups Mireiaparticipates in food, hospitality, retail and other events. You may berequired to: • Represent Mireia at exhibitions and roadshows. • Speak with customers and introduce our products. • Conduct product demonstrations and tastings. • Collect and qualify potential leads. • Set up and pack down event displays. • Assist with stock and product preparation. • Follow up with leads after events. Some events maytake place during evenings or weekends. Appropriatetime-off or other arrangements will be provided in accordance with companypolicy and applicable employment requirements. 5. Marketing& Creative Support We also wantsomeone who can contribute ideas. You may assistwith: • Social media content ideas. • Product photography and content preparation. • Event concepts. • Customer presentations. • Product sampling ideas. • New ways to introduce Mireia to hotels and restaurants. • New partnership concepts. • Market research. • Competitor research. • Simple marketing materials. • Preparing presentations and sales materials. You do not needto be a professional marketer or designer. We valueideas, initiative and creativity. 6. GeneralStartup Support Mireia is stillgrowing. This meanspriorities can change quickly. There may betimes when you are asked to help with something outside your normalresponsibilities because the business needs it. Examples couldinclude: • Preparing an urgent customer order. • Helping move or organize stock. • Preparing materials for an event. • Assisting with a new product launch. • Helping the founders prepare for a client meeting. • Supporting an operational project. • Researching a new business opportunity. • Helping solve an unexpected problem. You will workclosely with the founders and have the opportunity to see how a business isactually built from the ground up.
