Assistant Vice President – Regulatory Compliance & Product Governance (Insurance)

About the job A hands-on, solution-oriented role driving operational compliance execution, policy drafting, and regulatory implementation. • Drive end-to-end MAS compliance implementation programs, translate regulatory updates into operational workflows, and build a central Compliance Library from scratch. • Review marketing materials, policy wordings, and customer disclosures across various insurance products to ensure alignment with MAS Fair Dealing outcomes. • Partner directly with business units on daily advisory, Third-Party Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, and Operational Resilience projects. • Collaborate across various business operational units to co-create compliant, business-friendly solutions for complex operational roadblocks. About the manager/team Join a lean, high-impact team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Compliance. Offers direct exposure to senior leadership, high autonomy, and direct mentorship with minimal bureaucracy. Skills and experience required • At least 6-8 years in regulatory compliance with strong working knowledge of MAS regulations, Insurance Act, and PDPC guidelines. • Hands-on experience drafting compliance policies, implementing internal controls, and rolling out compliance monitoring programs. • Proactive, independent self-starter with the communication skills to influence business heads and guide daily operational decisions.
