Software QA Engineer (Start in 2027)

Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Software QA Engineer to join their dynamic team: • Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract • Position: Software QA Engineer • Location: Paya Lebar • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours • Salary Package: Up to $6,900 + Bonus Job Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and regression test suites. • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability. • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and smoke testing throughout the software development lifecycle. • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios and assisting users during testing. • Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects. • Validate application releases and ensure quality standards are met before deployment. • Support continuous testing within Agile development and CI/CD environments. Job Requirements: • At least 4 years of experience in software quality assurance with strong hands-on automation testing experience. • Experience designing and maintaining QA automation frameworks. • Proficient with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar. • Experience performing API testing using tools such as Postman, Newman, REST Assured, or equivalent. • Familiar with SQL for data validation and verification. • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution. • Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and Agile development practices. • Knowledge of application security testing concepts such as authentication, authorisation, and input validation is an advantage. • We are conducting early recruitment for an upcoming project.
