Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary Responsible for executing civil, structural, or geotechnical designs by preparing calculations and reviewing structural design drawings to meet customer specifications, applicable codes, standards, and accepted engineering practices. Responsibilities • Design detailed building and civil infrastructure projects, including geotechnical, underground excavation, and tunnelling works, to meet project requirements. • Perform structural and infrastructure analysis and design to ensure safety and compliance with engineering standards. • Coordinate project submissions and approvals with local authorities and manage technical liaison during construction stages. • Communicate technical information effectively with clients, consultants, and authorities to resolve design and construction issues. • Mentor and provide technical support to junior engineers to enhance team capability and project delivery. Preferred competencies and qualifications • Civil Engineering Degree from a reputable institution, preferably recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore. • Minimum 3 years of experience in structural or geotechnical design. • Proficient in engineering design software and analytical tools to produce accurate design outputs. • Knowledge of design codes such as Euro Code 2 and Euro Code 3. • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts clearly. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
