Truck Driver

Truck Driver Job Responsibilities: • Drive and operate trucks. • Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps. • Pre-inspect truck. • Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. • Load and unload cargo. • Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. • Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)( Class 4) • 2+ years professional driving experience or related work experience • Must have a clean driving record with no recent moving violations • Proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles • Physically fit and able to sit for long time periods, perform truck maintenance, and lift 25 pounds comfortably • The candidate should be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator • Able to work nights, weekends, extended hours, and holidays as needed
