Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership and oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring continuity, quality and effective stakeholder support.
• Supervise, mentor and assess staff competency, including training, performance monitoring and development.
• Lead quality management activities, including quality control, audits, quality indicators, incident review and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with HCSA, ISO 15189, ESS and other applicable regulatory and professional standards.
• Evaluate and validate equipment, instruments, reagents, imaging modalities and test methods prior to implementation.
• Oversee equipment commissioning, calibration, maintenance and performance monitoring, and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain effective document control, records management and service documentation to ensure accuracy, traceability and audit readiness.
• Investigate technical, operational and quality issues, leading root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Promote workplace, biological, chemical and radiation safety, including risk assessment, incident reporting and emergency preparedness.
• Monitor service performance, support incident and complaint investigations, and prepare quality and management reports as required.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years’ clinical lab management and phlebotomy experience
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• ASCP certification will be a strong advantage
