QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Responsibilities: • Prepare and revise drawings in a timely manner for tenders and job orders. • Prepare and analyze costings for tenders. • Analyze outcomes and prepare detailed progress reports. • Obtain quotations, liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers. • Coordinate with the sales team, production team, and clients on job orders and design specifications. • Survey site conditions and assess the cost and method requirements for installation, delivery, and set-up, where necessary. • Conduct quality control to ensure finished products are constructed according to job orders and drawings. • Be organized and responsible for the proper safekeeping of all files and drawings. • Provide support to production, procurement, and logistics team members. • Be responsible for tender preparation and submission within the required deadlines. • Perform all other QS-related duties. • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the employer. Requirement: • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Construction sector is preferrable. • Competency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 2D & 3D drawings. • Organized, self-driven, and a team player with good interpersonal skills. • Proficient in MS Office. • Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing building construction. • Possess skills in reading and interpreting plans and specifications. • Possess skills in accurate measurement, tender preparation, calculation, pricing, and quotation. • Understand the relevant standard forms of building contracts. • Possess good written communication and interpersonal skills. • Relevant qualification: Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. • Possess a good and positive working attitude.
