Procurement Assistant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team. You will support day-to-day procurement activities, work closely with suppliers and internal departments and help ensure materials and services are sourced and delivered on time and at competitive prices. Roles and Responsibilities • Assist with sourcing and obtaining quotations from local and overseas suppliers. • Prepare quotation comparisons and Purchase Orders (PO) for approval. • Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules and outstanding items. • Coordinate deliveries, logistics and shipment arrangements. • Perform document matching for PO, Delivery Order (DO) and Invoice. • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information and proper filing. • Update purchasing information in the ERP system and other procurement tools. • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments on day-to-day purchasing matters. Requirements • ITE Certificate, Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or equivalent. • Relevant experience in purchasing/procurement is preferred, but fresh graduates and candidates without prior procurement experience are welcome to apply. Training will be provided. • Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for a Procurement Executive / Senior position. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage. • Organised and detail-oriented with good record-keeping skills. • Good communication and coordination skills. • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks. • Responsible, proactive and a good team player.
