Executive Architect/Executive Architectural Associate

Responsibilities • Originate and develop creative design concepts and the design documents during the design development phase • Develop solutions to design and detailing issues • Support the resolution of design solutions during the construction documents and construction administration phases • Oversee project team members or less experienced designers to ensure design intent • Ensure project is on schedule and within budget • Ensure that documentation for all phases conforms to quality assurance, quality control and best practice standards • Set up project team software parameters and manage standards • Communicate with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications, progress reviews and design delivery • Prepare client presentations and present design concepts and drawings • Provide technical support and project communications to the team as required • Attend on-site visits and client meetings to verify design requirements and deliver design progress reviews Qualities and skills required • Minimum Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree/Master's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution registrable with BOA or equivalent • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field • Advanced design, visual, and graphic presentation skills • Demonstrated ability to manage the design of small to large projects to fruition • Well-versed with contract admin, local Authorities regulations and codes, and knowledge of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC)/Corenet-X • Conversant with REVIT and 3D Software • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Please submit with full resume + portfolio and expected salary to:- THE OFFICE MANAGER personnel@dca-architects.com
