Relationship Manager — Private Banker

About SeedRock SeedRock Asia Pte. Ltd. is a Monetary Authority of Singapore regulated multi-family office and licensed fund manager (CMS100959), serving ultra-high-net-worth families and institutional clients across two practice pillars: Private Wealth and Family Governance, and Institutional Mandates. Our positioning is deliberate: Institutional Sovereignty — the corporate office for your family. We exist to give UHNW principals the governance discipline, investment rigour, and institutional infrastructure ordinarily reserved for sovereign wealth funds and the largest endowments, applied at the scale of a single family or a small group of families. SeedRock is independent. We hold no proprietary product, carry no distribution agenda, and answer only to the families and institutions that retain us. Our Relationship Managers are bankers in the fullest sense — trusted advisers entrusted with the totality of a client relationship — but they operate inside a firm built for permanence rather than a sales floor built for quarterly volume. The Role We are looking for an established private banking professional to join SeedRock as a senior Relationship Manager, bringing an existing, portable ultra-high-net-worth client base into a platform built specifically to serve that calibre of client without the conflicts of a balance-sheet bank. This is a senior, client-facing mandate. You will be the primary point of contact for your principals, responsible for the full relationship: investment advisory, structured solutions, family governance conversations, and coordination with SeedRock's internal investment, risk, and compliance functions on your clients' behalf. You will operate with the autonomy of a private banker and the backing of an institutional platform. The successful candidate will be someone for whom the move to SeedRock represents a genuine upgrade in client outcomes — not a lateral change of letterhead. Key Responsibilities • Manage and grow a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth client relationships, acting as principal adviser across investment, credit, and family governance matters • Migrate an existing portable client book (minimum USD 30 million) onto the SeedRock platform within an agreed onboarding period • Originate and structure investment solutions in partnership with SeedRock's Investment and Strategic Finance and Risk functions, spanning discretionary mandates, structured products, and direct fund allocations • Lead client conversations on family governance, succession, and institutionalisation — converting personal-relationship-based holdings into structured, multi-generational arrangements where appropriate • Maintain full ownership of client suitability, KYC, and ongoing due diligence in coordination with Compliance • Represent SeedRock's institutional positioning consistently — clients should experience continuity of judgement and process, not dependence on a single individual • Contribute to the firm's broader institutionalisation agenda: converting personal trust into SeedRock-level trust through SMA structures, governance services, and multi-touchpoint client coverage Candidate Profile • A minimum of eight years' private banking or wealth management experience at a recognised institution, with a demonstrated track record managing ultra-high-net-worth relationships • An active, portable client book with minimum AUM of USD 30 million, capable of transitioning within a reasonable onboarding window • Direct experience advising on structured products, discretionary portfolios, and cross-asset solutions for sophisticated private clients • A consultative, advice-led approach to client management — comfortable operating without proprietary product pressure • Existing familiarity with Singapore and regional UHNW client segments; Mandarin or other regional language proficiency an advantage • Unblemished regulatory record and clean professional history, verifiable through standard background and reference checks Compensation This role is structured for a senior, established private banker and is priced accordingly. Compensation is salary-led, providing income stability during the client transition period, with a retrocession override on revenue generated from your migrated and newly originated book. • Fixed base salary of SGD 15,000 per month or higher, calibrated to portable book size and seniority • Retrocession override on AUM-generated revenue, payable quarterly, in addition to base salary • Discretionary annual bonus tied to client retention, book growth, and institutionalisation outcomes • This structure does not carry an equity or partnership component — it is designed for certainty of income against a high, de-risked base, distinct from SeedRock's commission-led RM tracks Why SeedRock • A genuinely open-architecture platform — no proprietary product agenda, no balance-sheet conflicts • Direct access to SeedRock's CIO, Strategic Finance and Risk function, and governance specialists on every client mandate • An institutional brand built specifically for the UHNW family office segment, not a retail-down private bank • A compensation structure designed for stability during transition, not a cliff-edge commission model To Apply Please submit your CV in confidence. All applications are handled with strict discretion; no contact will be made with current employers at any stage of the process.
