Machinist (Mould Maker)

Job Description: • Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. • Operating conventional machines, performing precision fitting and finishing. • Ensure that moulds meet required dimensional, functional, and quality standards. • Check dimensions and tolerances using equipment, vernier caliper, micrometer, height gaug and etc. • Read and interpret engineering drawing, mould designs, specifications and technical documentation. • Perform precision machining, fitting, grinding, polishing, drilling, tapping, and bench work. • To carry out mould repairs, modifications, refurbishment, and preventive maintenance. • To ensure mould components are correctly fitted, aligned, and finished to the required standards. • Identify worn or damaged components and recommend replacement or corrective action. • Report faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately. • Observes all company policies and procedures, including safety rules, and maintains 5S workplace standards and orderly work area. Job Requirements: • Nitec or Diploma in Precision Engineering or related discipline. Relevant working experience in mould making, toolmaking, or precision machining. • Bilingual in both spoken and written form. • Basic computer literacy.
