Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor (E&M / Building)

Responsibilities: • Perform taking off and measurement of quantities, and establishing detailed BOQ • Source, review and negotiation of quotations • Work closely and liaise with both internal and external project stakeholders • Attend project meetings including site walks for progress claims’ evaluation • Project budget and cost control including prepare monthly financial budget report and presentations (For Senior position) • Prepare RFQ Subcontract tender documents, analyze and prepare cost comparison, post tender clarifications, tender interview, and award recommendation report • Sub-Contract administration including handling contractual documentation, correspondences and disputes matters • Assess, verify and response subcontractor's monthly progress claim, final account and variation orders in timely manner Requirements: • Degree in Quantity Surveying or in related disciplines (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil & Structural Engineering) • At least 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar position in construction industry, preferably with LTA MRT or bus depot project, with additional preference for experience in major RC works • Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role • Knowledge of PSSCOC and/or REDAS and /or SIA standard forms of Contracts • Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment • Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently Information provided in response to this job advertisement will be treated in strict confidence and be used for recruitment purpose only.
