Software Engineer (Trading Platform, FIX Protocol, Shell Scripting, Java, Capital Markets, AMQ)

Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain Java applications, services, and integrations for electronic trading platforms. • Support FIX Protocol integrations and connectivity with brokers, trading venues, and external counterparties. • Perform Linux/Unix administration, troubleshooting, and Shell/Python scripting for application support and automation. • Support application deployment, production implementation, CI/CD, and release management. • Troubleshoot production and connectivity issues, perform root cause analysis, performance tuning, and optimization. • Support Capital Markets/Electronic Trading applications across monitoring, resiliency, operational improvements, and production support. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in Java development and application support, preferably in electronic trading environments. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Electronic Trading Platforms, including distributed and high-throughput applications. • Experience with FIX Protocol (FIX 4.x/5.x) and trading platform integrations with brokers and trading venues. • Strong Linux/Unix administration, troubleshooting, and Shell/Python scripting experience. • Experience with CI/CD, deployment, release management, production support, and root cause analysis, including performance tuning. • Strong knowledge of Capital Markets/Treasury & Markets, including FX, Fixed Income, or Equities, with SQL and relational database experience.
