Communications Manager

About SG Her Empowerment (SHE) SG Her Empowerment (SHE) is an independent non-profit dedicated to empowering women and girls and supporting targets of online harms. Our vision is to create a safe and equitable tomorrow for every person to thrive. Through community engagement, research, strategic partnerships and advocacy, SHE drives lasting, purposeful change. For more information, visit https://she.org.sg Our Culture — Who We Are SHE is a team of deep and creative thinkers who thrive on projects that stretch them. We experiment, run pilots, and explore — because the problems we work on don't have ready-made answers. We value clear communication, shared goals, and a strong spirit of camaraderie. We are not afraid of challenging or being challenged, and we actively seek out different perspectives because we believe that's how everyone grows. We also take our food very seriously. If you are someone who wants to do more than a job — someone who invests in the people around them, shows up with curiosity, and brings energy to the room — you will fit right in here. Who You Are Beyond your technical skills, we are looking for someone with a specific kind of presence: • You communicate with warmth and directness — you say what you mean and mean what you say, and people feel at ease around you. • You enjoy frank, open conversations and don't shy away from healthy debate — with your manager, your peers, or senior stakeholders. • You build relationships naturally and invest in them deliberately — not because it's in the job description, but because people matter to you. • You are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders — government partners, board members, external agencies — with confidence and poise. • You bring fun and lightness to the work without losing rigour. You know when to be serious and when to laugh. • You are here to contribute to something meaningful, not just to clock in and out.
