Ship Boarding Officer

Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and process port and immigration formalities, declarations and vessel clearances. • Take responsibility for operational matters and documentation relating to assigned vessels. • Coordinate bunkering, husbandry services, crew changes, surveyors and suppliers. • Arrange transportation for crew members between vessels, airports and other locations. • Provide timely updates on vessel schedules, prospects and work progress to all relevant parties. • Maintain good relationships with customers, shipowners, operators and service providers. • Attend vessels physically at Singapore ports and anchorages when required. Requirements • Relevant experience in shipping agency or vessel operations. • Good knowledge of port and immigration regulations, procedures and tariffs. • Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, according to vessel arrival and departure schedules. • Able to work under pressure and respond promptly to operational requirements. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office. • Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence. • Candidates who can commence work at short notice will have an advantage.
