Chemical Process Engineer

Our esteemed client in the Environmental Services industry is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to join their dynamic team: • Employment Type: Permanent • Position: Chemical Process Engineer • Location: Tuas (Transport provided) • Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm • Salary Package: Up to $4,500 + Transport Allowance* + Bonus Job Responsibilities: • Analyse, evaluate, and improve plant processes to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and quality. • Monitor process performance, interpret operational data, and support digital process monitoring systems. • Conduct risk assessments and recommend process improvements. • Develop, implement, and optimise operating procedures and process documentation. • Support plant operations, maintenance activities, and process troubleshooting. • Participate in process safety initiatives, including risk studies and safety management activities. • Coordinate process improvement projects, plant shutdown planning, and implementation of new operational procedures. • Ensure projects are completed within established timelines and budgets. Job Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 2 years of experience in a process plant, chemical manufacturing, or industrial operations environment. • Knowledge of process optimisation, safety management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
