Quantity Surveyor (Construction)

Key Responsibilities: • Prepare, submit and follow up on monthly progress claims. • Assess work completed and prepare supporting documents for claim submissions. • Prepare cost estimates, quotations, tender documents and contract tender submissions. • Review tender requirements, drawings, specifications and bills of quantities. • Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare project cost breakdowns. • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. • Prepare and assess variation orders, additional work claims and final accounts. • Verify subcontractor progress claims and recommend payments. • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams on commercial and contractual matters. • Maintain proper records of contracts, claims, variations and project correspondence. • Ensure all claims and tender submissions are accurate and submitted within the required deadlines. Qualifications: • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline. • Relevant experience in construction progress claims and tender submissions. • Good knowledge of construction contracts, costing and quantity measurement. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software. • Good communication, negotiation and organizational skills. • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
