Ophthalmic Investigation Technologist (Main Centre)

An Ophthalmic Investigation Technologist supports ophthalmologists in conducting various eye examinations that are crucial for diagnosing and treating patients' eye conditions. Job Descriptions: • Work under the directions of ophthalmologist to assist in the diagnosis of ocular conditions • Conduct a range of ophthalmic tests for different conditions, such as glaucoma screenings, pre-operative cataract assessments, and other investigative procedures. • Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining inventory and ordering medical supplies. • Perform maintenance and calibration of diagnostic testing equipment. • Maintain patient records, including medical history and test results • Demonstrate the ability to meet required investigation competencies in a fast-paced environment Job Requirements: • Minimum Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Technology or equivalent, entry Diploma level are welcome • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Essential qualities include discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail • Enjoys working with patients • Basic knowledge of eye anatomy is beneficial but not mandatory, as on-the-job training will be provided • Willing to be deploy to other satalite clinics when required Work location: 1.
