[Your Next Opportunity]
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to take the next step in your career? As our Senior Executive, Client Accounting and Tax, you will report directly to a Manager, and play a key role in delivering accounting, tax and compliance services to a portfolio of clients. The role serves as a senior technical resource within the team, supporting Managers in client engagements, onboarding initiatives, process improvements and the development of junior team members.
This role provides an opportunity to be hands-on with a wide range of accounting functions, client advisory services, and process optimization efforts.
[Your Role and Responsibilities]
• Independently manage a portfolio of Singapore private limited companies and ensure timely completion of bookkeeping, payroll, GST, corporate tax and XBRL compliance obligations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts for clients.
• Prepare unaudited financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Prepare GST returns, tax computations, Form C/Form C-S and related tax filings for submission to IRAS.
• Liaise with clients and provide advice on accounting, payroll, ACRA and IRAS related matters.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and assist Managers in reviewing work to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Support Managers in client onboarding, portfolio transitions and the migration of accounting, payroll and tax records.
• Assist in the implementation of accounting software and digital solutions to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Support Managers in enhancing workflows, standard operating procedures and internal processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies and filing deadlines.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
[What We Are Looking For]
[Education]
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or other relevant professional qualifications.
[Skills and Experience]
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an outsourced accounting, corporate services or accounting firm environment in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), ACRA regulations, IRAS requirements, GST, CPF and payroll administration.
• Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST compliance, corporate tax preparation and XBRL filings.
• Experience in preparing full sets of accounts, unaudited financial statements and year-end financial statements.
• Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and group reporting.
• Strong client management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
• Technology-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
• Strong analytical, organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
• A positive team player who is willing to mentor and support junior team members.
• Experienced Audit Executives, Supervisors or Team Leads from Singapore audit firms with relevant accounting and financial reporting experience are also encouraged to apply.
