Site Engineer

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification recognized by IES/PES • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in Projects • Familiar with construction sequence, Risk Assessment and Method Statement • Able to read construction/shop drawings and understand detailing • Understand ISO 9001 clauses and being able to implement / audit procedures is an added advantage • Assist the project manager with on and off-site meetings pertaining to technical issues • Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shop drawings, and other related documents to the consultants or authorities • Coordinate and monitor work progress at the site including periodical site inspection and attend meetings during the course of the project • Able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE, and RTO • Development of Procedures, detailed Engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications • Plan monthly work schedules and set productivity to be achieved • Conduct Material Take Off (MTO) and management of List of Materials (LOM) to monitor the progress of projects • Verify technical specifications for adequacy • Disseminate technical specifications to the supervisor • Identify and record any product quality problems and implement solutions • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Commercial Manager • 5.5 days work week
