LORRY DRIVER

Job Responsibilities • Drive company lorry to transport goods, materials and equipment to designated locations safely and on time. • Carry out daily vehicle checks before and after each trip to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. • Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured and transported safely. • Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required. • Verify delivery orders, collection documents and other relevant paperwork. • Ensure accurate and timely delivery or collection of goods. • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules. • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle. • Report any vehicle defects, breakdowns, accidents or incidents promptly to the supervisor. • Comply with road traffic regulations, company procedures and workplace safety requirements. • Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage, loss or shortage. • Support warehouse, logistics or operational duties when required. • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management. Job Requirements • Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 / Class 4 driving licence , depending on the vehicle type. • Relevant experience as a lorry, delivery or commercial vehicle driver is preferred. • Familiar with Singapore roads and delivery locations. • Good driving record and safety awareness. • Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading work when required. • Able to handle delivery documents and basic paperwork. • Responsible, punctual and reliable. • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Able to communicate effectively with customers, warehouse staff and operations personnel. • Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when operationally required. • Experience in logistics, transportation, construction or warehouse operations will be an advantage.
