Equipment Engineer (Semiconductor Industry)

Job scope: • Perform installation, commissioning, and relocation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer site • Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system-related equipment issues, and perform repairs or replace defective parts where required • Support equipment start-up, testing, calibration, and qualification after installation or maintenance • Implement engineering change orders (ECOs), system upgrades, and equipment modifications • Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation accurately • Work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues and provide timely support • Ensure compliance with safety procedures while working in cleanroom environments • Participate in standby/on-call support and travel to customer sites locally or overseas when required • Assist with projects and other duties as assigned Requirements: • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. • Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair of Semiconductor Manufacturing or Mechanical / Electrical equipment will be an advantage. • Able to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and customer service skills. • Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and handling precision equipment. • Willing to perform shift work, standby duties, and travel overseas when required. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications We regret only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
