Key responsibilities
* Welcome customers and provide polite, helpful service.
* Scan or enter items accurately and process cash, card, QR, and e-wallet payments.
* Give the correct change and issue receipts.
* Follow store procedures for promotions, discounts, refunds, and voided transactions.
* Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
* Replenish shelves, check price labels and expiry dates, and maintain tidy displays.
* Assist with stock counts and report low stock, damaged items, or discrepancies.
* Follow procedures for opening, closing, and handing over the cash register.
* Report customer concerns, safety issues, or suspected theft to the supervisor.
Speaking Malay will be added advantage
